FAQ

What do I get when I subscribe?

Every month, your box is filled with:

  • One Romance Novel - handpicked by us, your Book Besties. It will be sweet, spicy, or both, and each month will be across a different sub-genre
  • Three magical items matched to the story and season
  • One signed character card or bookplate from the author*
  • One bookmark to match the book or season (selected boxes)**
  • One booklet to tie together the whole experience and truly romanticise reading. Includes notes from us, a spotlight on the author of the month, and some fun ways to make the most of the box!


*Where possible, depending on author availability. Otherwise we'll include an extra surprise item.

**Bookmarks come and go depending on what else is in the box. Some months we go all in on your magical items, so the little things skip a month. 

Can I skip a box?

A week before your box ships, you will receive an email with a sneak peek of the month. No book spoilers, but you will get the sub-genre, any trigger warnings, and the overall vibe to expect.

From there, you have 5 days to decide. If this month is not your thing, simply head to your subscription settings via the link in your original sign-up email or login to your account on our website and skip it.

You can skip up to 3 boxes across your subscription. After that, your subscriber spot will be released to make room for the next bestie on the waitlist. 🩷

What books do you choose for the boxes?

We select books that we ourselves want and love to read! Each month it will be a different romance book spotlighting a different author. We try to vary the sub-genre each month so that you get to try all different types of romance!

If there are ever any sensitive topics in the book we'll be sure to give you a heads up in case it's something you're unsure about!

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

You can cancel your subscription at any point up until the 20th of each month. Cancel after that, and your next box will still be on its way to you and you'll be charged as normal. Your subscription will then stop the following month. To cancel, either use the link in your original email or login to your account on our website.

Are your boxes suitable for vegans?

Yes. Every food and drink item we include in our boxes is vegan.
